Shauna graduated from Lake Area Technical Institute (LATI) in 1998 before beginning her career as a dental assistant. She has been helping patients at Aberdeen Smiles since 2009 and has earned the role as team lead. Shauna is certified in CPR, radiology, and nitrous oxide. The best part of her job is hearing about how wonderful YOUR experience was. Seeing your improved smile puts a smile on her face. When she is away from the office, Shauna enjoys hunting, fishing, singing, swimming, and playing volleyball.
Tara recently joined Aberdeen Smiles in 2016. She works diligently as our dental hygiene coordinator, which means that she makes sure you have a fantastic hygienist with you at every cleaning appointment. Tara is also CPR certified. She greatly enjoys being able to meet new people while at the office. When at home, Tara enjoys spending time with her daughter, cooking, and quilting.
Tammy has been working in dentistry since 2000, but she joined our team at Aberdeen Smiles in 2009. She graduated from North Dakota State College of Sciences with an associate’s degree in dental hygiene. Since then, Tammy has earned certification in CPR, nitrous oxide, local anesthetic, and laser dentistry. She loves getting to know her patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals. When not in the office, Tammy enjoys fishing, photography, and playing cards.
Tifani began her career in dentistry in 2013. She has earned certifications in CPR, nitrous, radiology, and as an advanced functions dental assistant. Tifani joined the team at Aberdeen Smiles in 2014. The best part of her job is meeting new people and helping those people achieve the smile they want. When she’s not busy in the office, Tifani enjoys cooking, going to movies, and spending time with her 5-year-old son.
Abbie graduated from Lake Area Technical Institute (LATI) in 2015 as an expanded functions dental assistant. She joined our team at Aberdeen Smiles soon after and continued her education to earn certification in nitrous oxide, CPR, and radiology. Abbie enjoys working with patients of all ages and seeing the wonderful outcomes of large, complex cases. When she is not busy helping our patients, you can find Abbie spending time with her family at the lake.
Kali began her career in dentistry right here at Aberdeen Smiles in 2013. She has continued her education by receiving advanced certifications in CPR, nitrous oxide, radiology, and as an expanded functions dental assistant. The best part of Kali’s job is the people she gets to meet. When not helping patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoys spending time with her baby girl.
Carrie joined Aberdeen Smiles in 2014, but she has been working in dentistry since 2008. She greatly enjoys talking to our patients every day and helping them get the care they need. Carrie also loves working with the excellent team here at the office. When she isn’t busy helping our patients have a fantastic experience, Carrie likes to quilt, go camping, and spend time with her kids.
Kristie has been a part of the Aberdeen Smiles family since the early 1990s. All but two of her years in dentistry have been spent helping the patients of Aberdeen, SD right here in our office. She has earned certifications in CPR and nitrous oxide and has advanced education in laser dentistry. Kristie’s favorite part of her job is working with people and really getting to know them. She also enjoys going to sporting events during her free time.
Megan has been making her career in the dental field since 2012. She began working at Aberdeen Smiles in 2015, and she says that the best part of her position here is working with the patients. Megan has also had the opportunity to earn certification and advanced education in nitrous oxide, anesthetic, laser dentistry, and CPR. In her free time, Megan enjoys being with her twin sister, Molly, her family, and her boxer puppy, Trixie.
Michelle joined our team in 2012 and has been helping patients feel more welcome at Aberdeen Smiles ever since. In fact, the best part of Michelle’s job is getting to know the patients in the office. Away from work, she enjoys quilting, sewing, camping, and spending time with her family.
Lacey has been helping patients at Aberdeen Smiles since 2016, but she has been working in dentistry since 2006. The best part of her job is helping our patients financially achieve the smile they want. When she isn’t busy helping patients, Lacey enjoys camping with family and friends, gardening, and attending her kids’ various activities.
