Call 605-277-9049 for an appointment with our friendly team at Aberdeen Smiles. You could have your custom restorations in as few as six days! For your scheduling convenience, we offer Saturday appointments by request.
Dental crowns are small caps that fit over the top of your damaged teeth. A crown can also be attached to a dental implant to replace a missing tooth. Our crowns are made out of zirconia, one of the strongest materials available. They look like natural teeth and will restore your chewing power. You might need a crown if you have a cracked or broken tooth or have just completed root canal treatment.
Instead of a crown, you may need:
Don’t tolerate pain when biting and chewing or feel self-conscious about your smile. Let us fix problems like broken or cracked teeth so you can protect your oral health for years to come.
Aberdeen Smiles has always had stellar customer service! My experience with them, my children and self included, has made us very comfortable during a routine clean to procedures! I’m thankful to find a truly amazing family dentist.
The hygienist and dentist were both patient and kind to my daughter. She loves going there and she has only been there once. I would recommend Aberdeen Smiles to any parent. Thanks, Ladies!!
Dr. Drake and the staff at Aberdeen Smiles provides an amazing and positive experience. I had extractions done and was pain free and very quick. I got upper and lower dentures and they are absolutely amazing. Great fit and look awesome. I can’t thank Dr Drake and staff for such an amazing experience. I would recommend them very to friends and family.
Very nice people! I really like Aberdeen Smiles, I think the dentists are in too much of a hurry though. I’d feel more comfortable with them taking a bit more time to make sure everything is 100% rather than just getting the patients in and out so we don’t have to sit in the chair too long. I’d rather sit too long so everything is right.
I went in for a cleaning, the hygienist was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I have a couple of teeth that need to be repaired, the dentist explained the procedure quite well. I highly recommend Aberdeen Smiles!!!
Great place fast service very friendly atmosphere would recommend to family and friends
Dr. Christina Ky, performed nothing less than a miracle on My mouth today! Aberdeen Smiles was far better with Me and My circumstances than any other office in the surrounding area. I have never felt that much investment in customer satisfaction as I felt there. I am continuing to have a great relationship with this office and recommend it!
Ok so love this gal that cleans my teeth… the whole staff is about NO PAIN… so normally I would do a numbing rinse just to do a cleaning and it would have taken an hour or more and this gal only takes like 30 minutes altogether. Just shocked and love it.. so much anxiety when going and it just stops when you go there and super surprised!!! Will never go anywhere else!!! Thanks bunches
Dr. Ky is amazing! Would recommend her to everyone! She’s super thorough and explains what she is doing and why, while wanting everything to be the best! The staff has always been super nice and accommodating. They are all wonderful people.
Dental crowns are one of the most versatile services that we offer our patients. Crowns can be used to repair teeth that have breaks, cracks, cavities, and damage from infections. Crowns also can have cosmetic benefits for people with discolored, misshapen, and small teeth. A crown can even be attached to a dental implant to replace a lost tooth.
Dental bridges are restorations made to replace missing teeth. These bridges are created by bonding dental crowns together. Traditional bridges are bonded to teeth that have been reshaped to act as abutments for the bridge. Bridges also can be attached to dental implants, which can keep us from touching teeth that are healthy.
If you are missing multiple teeth, a dental bridge is usually your best option. If you are missing a single tooth, however, you should consider your options. A traditional bridge can fill the gap in your smile in a relatively quick and simple way. An implant-supported crown or implant-supported bridge can be a little more complex, but it may prevent bone loss without requiring changes to healthy teeth.
The average dental crown or bridge will last for approximately five to seven years, although your restoration may give you great performance for 10 years or longer if you maintain good oral hygiene and avoid eating foods that compromise it. We’ll be happy to provide you instructions on how to keep your crown or bridge fully functional for as long as possible.
